For Lynn and her husband Graham, their Newfoundland dog, Narnia, has brought immeasurable joy, companionship, and a renewed sense of adventure into their lives. Having shared over fifty years of marriage — and a lifelong love of Newfoundlands — Narnia is the latest in a line of gentle giants that have filled their home with love. From the moment she arrived, her affectionate spirit and loyalty have made her a cherished part of the family. Every morning, she rattles the little wooden gate at the bottom of the stairs to let them know she’s awake, ready to greet them with excitement — a ritual that never fails to make Lynn smile and start her day with warmth. The photographic experience was a way for Lynn to celebrate that beautiful bond and the companionship that Narnia brings into their everyday life.

The session was also a way of acknowledging how deeply connected they are to their dogs, and how those relationships have quietly shaped their lives together.
