For Kate and Chris, Moose is more than just a dog—she’s the heart of their little family. When they moved from London to Somerset, it was a time of big changes and uncertainty, especially for Chris, a musician and teacher, who left behind the familiarity of his old life and found himself feeling isolated.

With Kate working long hours as a vet, Chris wanted a companion, someone to come home to, a presence that would make their house feel like home. That’s when Moose came into their lives—right after their wedding, as if symbolizing the start of a new chapter. Since then, she has been his best friend, his comfort, and his constant source of joy.

The decision to have a photographic experience was about capturing the incredible bond they share and creating a lasting reminder of what Moose has brought into their lives. She is both a motivator and a softie, full of energy one moment and curling up for a cuddle the next. Chris often says she knows him better than he knows himself, sensing exactly when he needs comfort, making him smile when he needs it most. Since having her, those feelings of loneliness have faded—replaced by the warmth of Moose’s unwavering companionship. Seeing her tail wag softly as she lies beside him is enough to bring him a sense of peace and relief.

Now, their beautiful artwork is displayed in their home, in the living room where Chris, a very proud dog dad, can admire it every day. It’s more than just a picture— it’s a reminder of the love, laughter, and comfort Moose has brought into their lives. It helps them appreciate the small moments, to be present, and to celebrate the simple joys of having a dog who is always there, always knowing exactly what they need.
