North Devon Portrait Studio Raise £3600 for Ilfracombe Dogs Trust

North Devon based Portrait Studio Unique + United have raised £3600 for Ilfracombe Dogs Trust by donating their fee from 36 Dog Portrait sittings, all of which featured in a beautiful coffee table book entitled ‘Rescued - A heartfelt project to support Dogs Trust Ilfracombe’.

The Book launch was held on Saturday (24th June) at Unique + United Studios at the North Devon Business Park in Chivenor, where Director Jamie Bott presented a cheque for £3600 to Dogs Trust Relations Manager Amy Bingham.

An additional £150 for Dogs Trust was raised on the day by the raffle which featured generous contributions from local businesses SALT Hair/Beauty, Blue Groove, Surfing Croyde Bay, The Porthole Woolacombe, The Break Saunton, Rietveld Clothing, Ocean’s Bay Barnstaple, Chews Natural Treats, Hands On Clinic , Canonteign Falls

In a short speech Unique + United Director and Founder Jamie Bott thanked all the participants and talked about how he believes we can use photography to generally make a positive difference in peoples lives.

‘We set up Unique + United up to use photography help people to see, feel and celebrate more in themselves everyday, to allow people to take some time out to consider what it is about their lives that they’re truly grateful for and to create artworks that help them to, focus on and, celebrate this every day. Our mission is to help people to see all that they have, rather than what they have not.

Through doing this we want to help create a healthier and happier society and impact families mental health in a positive way because we believe that everybody believes to see, feel and celebrate the best in themselves every day!’
