For Georgia and her mum Liz, the decision to have a photographic experience came from a quiet awareness that time doesn’t stand still. Ianto had been such a constant in their lives—growing up alongside Georgia, shaping their family dynamic—that they wanted to capture him not just as he is, but what he represents before that chapter changes.

Like so many families, it’s easy to assume there will always be more time—more walks, more cuddles, more moments. This experience helped them move past that hesitation and instead honour what they have right now. It wasn’t about waiting for the “perfect time,” but recognising that this moment already matters.

Their story centres around Ianto, a chocolate lab who is truly the heart of their family. From his playful, cheeky personality to the way he instinctively knows when Georgia needs him after a long day, he is so much more than a pet—he is her comfort, her support, and her constant companion. Teilo brings his own character into the home too, but it’s Ianto who has become the thread that quietly holds everything together, creating a sense of closeness between them all.

Their artwork now holds a special place in their home, becoming a daily reminder of that bond. It’s not just a portrait of a dog—it’s a reflection of a relationship, of loyalty, and of a love that has grown over years. Every time they see it, it brings a mix of warmth, pride, and gratitude.

More than anything, it has helped them see their world with greater appreciation. To not take the everyday for granted. To recognise that the small, seemingly ordinary moments—the ones filled with love, routine, and connection—are often the most meaningful of all.
